Writer/Director

Don Ahmad is a writer/director based in New York City. As a filmmaker, he retains a focus in narrative and commercial projects that highlight and uplift South Asian Americans. He is a semifinalist in 1497’s 2025 Feature Lab, the Antigravity Academy Screenwriters Camp, and a Gotham EDU ‘25 Fellow. He recently won the NFFTY x Adobe Post-Production Grant for his upcoming short film, PAPER TIGER.
